A poem from Michael

Lace
by Michael David Coffey
***

Lace and rose flowers
Delicately covering your soul
A thin veil of perfection
Gateway to your dreams
Beautiful in their woven fabric
Nature's weave, in softness

Lace and passion
Floral fantasy, unraveling
Peeling back the fabric
Fragrance in frail flowers
Revealing longing need
Nature's weave, removed

Lace and fulfillment
Frantic movements, abandon
Life receiving, giving
Breathing in the fragrance
Of roses and love
Fantasy and togetherness

Lace and comfort
Pulling back the fabric
Lying as one
Beneath fragile beauty
Flowers and the fine weave
A final embrace

Thank you Michael
for those beautiful lines!
They shall remain in my soul,
in a special garden,
where grow unique flowers
offered to me
by special people like you,
Michael David Coffey!
